I was in an artistic slump for most of the day, but I think I’m coming out of it. Took longer than usual to get warmed up.
Augmenting a few old unsold pin-ups to make them more enticing.
Inking w/ PITT pens today instead of the brush pen. Nothing against it, but sometimes I want more control. Until I don’t and go back to it.
Getting the kids off to school, then it’s back to drawing girlie pictures for fun and profit.
Going to get the kids and then pick up a new pack of white card stock. Seems like I just bought the last one, and it’s nearly gone.
At the dr. with the wife, then a little lunch. When I get home it’s nonstop drawing til the kids get home. That’s the plan, at least.

Inking Revenger. I’m determined to finish this page today so I can start lettering the story tomorrow. Nothing will stop me. Not even you!
Drawing more stuff for Ebay before I get back to commissions. Revenger…I’ve got my eye on you. You’ll be finished soon enough.
Kids are in bed. I’m looking at five partially done commissions lined up at the top of my drawing table. Which to work on first…
Working on a few reproductions, then more work on a Hussar lancer commission, some Ebay drawing, and finally Revenger. Busy night ahead!

Inks on one commission down, and one to go. Next I need to touch up some preliminary pencils for customer approval.
Getting as much art done as I can this morning. After lunch the kids have a dr’s appointment out of town, so I’ll lose a chunk of my day.
Inking one last commission, then more inking on Revenger. One way or another, I will hit the May 25 deadline.
I lost most of the weekend because the power was out, but I’m back in business this morning.
Forgot a few details in that Hellboy sketch. Flames above the head, larger gun, etc. That’s what happens when I rush myself.
Just got commissioned to draw Hellboy. It’s very refreshing to get the occasional comic book character request.
I’m really noticing a difference in the Pentel Pocket Brush since I put the new ink in it. The lines it makes seem fuller.
Swamped. But in a good, financially beneficial way.
A bottle of Koh-I-Noor ink will be in the mail today. I hear it’s good for refilling Pentel Pocket Brush Pen cartridges.
Today I have a comic page to ink, as well 2 commissions, and I have a drawing to duplicate. Full day ahead after I take the kids to school.
Came up with a managable production schedule for the remaining pages of Revenger. I’ll not deviate from it. This I swear.

I created a print of one of my driders and put it up on Ebay today. I have a watcher already, so it could sell. testingthewaters

After lunch I think I’ll draw a satyr and (if time permits) a Power Girl.
